There are heated/enclosed locker rooms.  Your team will likely use locker room #3 & #4 which is located by the scoreboard.  Players do not have to come pre- or half-dressed unless they want to.

There are no bathrooms in the locker rooms, so we highly advise taking your player inside the restaurant to use the restroom prior to getting dressed for the game.

Please bring water/hydration from home for your player in a water bottle.  Since The Barn is not a "rink" there are no water fountains.  If someone forgets, they can of course go inside and ask a server for water.  But we try our best to not inconvenience the wait staff with this.  Between both teams, 20+ kids water cups would be an inconvenience to their operations and non-hockey dining service.

On any given day the parking lot might be getting busy due to a popular game being on TV.  If you can't find a spot, you can park at the doctor's office directly behind The Barn.  It is essentially the same parking lot.

There are a few tables inside the restaurant where you can see the game but those tables are typically occupied pretty fast.  The best spot for large groups is to utilize the pavilion area.  There are lots of tables there and it's the easiest area to go back and forth to watch hockey. If you're in the pavilion looking for a refill or a bill, it's totally normal at The Barn to walk inside and just ask a server in passing for something that you need.  They try their best! But as you'll see it's a unique set up all around!

Since it is not a normal indoor rink, there is no lobby or concourse for siblings to run around and play.  This is just a heads up to any families planning to bring younger kids.

Weather! Since starting in 2023 we have only needed to cancel due to weather maybe three or four times.  The rink has a full refrigeration unit beneath it that keeps us skating regardless of mother nature most days!  We play while it snows and even when it rains.  Please correspond with your team manager/coach who will be in contact with us as the game approaches.
